Formulated for horses and ponies that hold their weight well and require a very low sugar and starch balancer. Lite Balancer provides a concentrated source of essential vitamins, minerals and protein designed to balance your horse or pony’s diet.

Feeding Rate
Adjust feeding rate according to workload and body condition; between 100 - 200 g per 100 kg bodyweight per day.

Chestnut Lite Balancer is a molasses free, low sugar and starch nutrient-dense balancer, containing all the macro- and micro-nutrients that a horse or pony needs for optimum health and well-being. With a combined sugar and starch level of only 7.3% the Lite Balancer is suitable for equines with clinical nutritional diseases such as laminitis, EMS or PPID / Cushing’s Disease. 

It contains quality protein sources that supply essential amino acids in order to build and repair muscle and other tissues.

Top Tip!
If your horse or pony is prone to weight gain, you can feed our Lite Balancer on it’s own, with Chomp Lite or with our unmolassed beet flakes in order to deliver a low calorie, fibre-based diet, with maximum chewing times aimed at keeping your horse or pony occupied for longer.
