Chestnut High Fibre Nuts

A high fibre, low sugar feed suitable for a wide range of horses and ponies in light work, on box rest, or those that have a good Body Condition Score.

Designed to be fed alongside grazing and other forage.

1 level Stubbs round bowl scoop weighs approx. 1.5 kg.

Feeding Rate
Adjust feeding rate according to workload and body condition; between 0.25 - 1 kg per 100 kg bodyweight per day.  Feed a maximum of 1.5 kg per meal.  Always feed a minimum of 1.5 kg forage per 100 kg of bodyweight per day.

Fibre sources used in our feeds can change, depending on the time of year and seasonal conditions. Therefore our feeds may also change in appearance. This is the nature of fibre crops and does not affect the overall nutritional value of the feed.

Chestnut High Fibre Nuts are high in fibre and low in energy and, as such, they are ideal for a wide range of horses and ponies; from those at rest, in light work, on box rest, or those that have a good Body Condition Score. 

The palatable blend of natural ingredients includes digestible fibre sources and quality protein; they are also fully balanced with vitamins and minerals making them a perfect daily choice for horses and ponies whose overall energy requirements are low.

Top Tip!
If your horse or pony is on box rest or standing in the stable for long periods of time, our High Fibre Nuts can be fed in boredom balls in order to enhance the day and create a little distraction.
